Music, friends, and floatation devices come together Aug.12-13 at the inaugural Mike Graham Float Trip Weekend in New Braunfels, TX. The weekend will feature two incredible shows and one big float of the beautiful and perfectly chilly Guadalupe River. The event will kick off Friday night with an intimate acoustic songswap featuring Mike and two of the greatest songwriters Texas (and by extension, the world) has to offer--Chris Wall and Walt Wilkins. Seats for this show will be very limited, so get yours quickly! The show will be held on the brand-new deck of the Lone Star Floathouse overlooking the soothing green and white flow of the Guadalupe. Then, on Saturday you'll slip on the swimsuits, load up your coolers, and float that same stretch of water courtesy of the good folks at the Floathouse. Saturday night will feature a diverse combination of two amazing bands at the retro-cool (and air-conditioned) Saengerhalle. Mike Graham & the LaughingBoys will serve up a Texas-sized shot of "whiskey-soaked rock & roll" and very special guest "Smooth" Max Stalling will have you singing, dancing and thinking--all at the same time--with his unique brand of ear-pleasing musical storytelling.
